Spaces: Expose Access Logs
Expose Access Logs (stored in a separate bucket/prefix) for requests to DO Spaces, for troubleshooting/analysis.
This is one feature preventing us from considering a DO Spaces trial to replace S3 for a relatively large bucket :) Thanks.

Have more statuses in ticket system
Right now my tickets are getting auto-closed after 3 days of inactivity, but I'm waiting on action from DO, so of course I'm not going to be active.
The tickets need other statuses besides "Active" and "Solved". My issue has not been solved, and the status should reflect that.

Tag based billing invoices.
I want to generate tag based billing invoices. Can I get the invoice section allow invoices segregated by tags ?
But I want to start identifying my project costs by tags. Is that possible to add a feature such that I can choose to get invoices by tags and manage consolidated payments at the main account level once a month on the billing cycle.
This will allow me to know costs associated with projects / servers under a given TAG.
What do you guys think about this feature?

Watch outbound ssh traffic for criminals
A digital ocean hosted server just tried to crack my web server.
There is **NO**REASON**ANY** hosted server should be making outbound SSH connections more than once an hour or to more than 10 hosts an hour OR ever use different usernames to ssh!
Any digital ocean server that does this should be blocked immediately until the customer contacts you to justify this activity.

Allow GRE packets through the firewall
Currently the DO firewall filters IP Protocol 47 (GRE) packets, which interferes with pptp vpn links. If GRE packets were added to the list, along with ICMP, IPv4 and IPv6, this would allow the use of PPTP VPNs (see e.g. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-setup-your-own-vpn-with-pptp) and other VPNs that utilize GRE packets, such as IPSec

Attach billing invoices to email as a PDF
Currently, when Digital Ocean sends its monthly billing invoice via email it doesn't attach the invoice to the email. Instead it gives a link to access the invoice, which is hosted elsewhere. This is nonsensical because it causes unnecessary additional steps in our Accounts Payable process when we're attaching invoices to expense payments.
Most SaaS/IaaS providers (i.e. GSuite, AWS etc) attach their monthly invoice as a PDF within an email and DO NOT require the customer to access the invoice elsewhere via a link.
Our organisation would benefit greatly if the invoices are simply attached as a PDF in the…

Allow Temp keys generation via API for spaces
If we can generate temporary keys via api with an expiry time, we can easily pass them to client for directly uploading files to spaces rather then going through the server hence saving bandwith and server time. I dont want to pass my api keys to my client

The website www.apple.com-fix.support links back to the ip address 46.101.168.137. This website is made to look like an Apple.com support intended to trick people into thinking they have problems they don't. This site needs to be shutdown... and you need to have a way to allow people to report this type of abuse.

Make Spaces API as simple as possible without trying to mimic Amazon S3
Make Spaces API as simple as possible without trying to mimic Amazon S3 for compatibility with existing libraries.
One of the key reasons lots of developers do move to Digital Ocean from AWS is because its simplicity and modern-developer-oriented approach.
Seeing xml responses instead of json and tons of ad-hoc headers was a punch in our face: we were excited while waiting Spaces to come out and we thought it was going to come out with some cool-yet-simple APIs like Digital Ocean's style.
This is my team biased opinion.11 votes -

Transactional Email Service
Transactional email is definitely required for developers to ensure email deliverability and flexibility. Digitalocean can provide free tier to those email triggered from droplet (just like there is free tier in AWS SES for emails triggered from EC2) this would encourage developers to spin new droplets as EC2 is tad costlier than Digitalocean. Maybe you can offer around 15k-20k emails free per month if triggered from DO droplet. You can also have different tiers for different droplets .. just a thought. Those is favour please vote.

Ability to monitor usage and I/O of Block Storage disks (and get alerts)
Currently it is only possible to monitor SSD disks to eg. be notified when they get full. Would be great to be able to do that with Block Storage also, as usually you use those disks to fill them with data and they need some up-resizing times to times.

mark a droplet as protected, so deleting it require confirm from owners via email
I noticed that destroying a droplet is so easy on Digital Ocean. I have to double and triple check If I'm deleting a correct droplet or not.
I think It's a good idea that I (as a customer) could mark some of my droplets as protected droplets, so destroying them require confirming on owner's email. I mean, DO does not delete the droplet unless the owner confirms via a link sent to his email.
I'll be happy if I see this feature on Digital Ocean.

Support expected wait time or queue position
Having submitted an issue it would be reassuring to have an expected wait time or queue position attached to the issue.
In my experience support response time can vary from 20 minutes to several hours, at least if one can see how long approximately it will be before a reponse, it is possible to get on with other work rather than waiting for a response that may take several hours.
Obviously live chat would be preferable but something like this would probably be easier to implement for the time being and in my opinion a better user experience.

More detailed Security History's Action
It could be very nice if it was possible to see "more detail" on an event in the Security History because "Action" is useful but often not enough :)
