This would allow me to scale an app seamlessly in real time, instead of needing to carefully time it against DNS cache latency.
After playing around with the new Load Balancers for a bit, It seems like an obvious extension. By the way, I'm really pleased with the feature. It seems very polished.5 votes
Thanks a lot for the feedback. We know that we are missing this integration, but we are working to fix it asap. Stay tuned for updates :)
Currently the DigitalOcean Agent only supports Ubuntu 14.04 and higher, CentOS 6 and higher, and Debian 8.
I suggest that DigitalOcean ports the Agent to cover the other 3 offerings of Fedora, CoreOS and FreeBSD.9 votes
i used to create same droplet specs and run stress testing one by one to measure which center would be faster to my country. it would be great addition if you developed a new service to show performance at any moment from all your centers responses.9 votes

Is should contain an invoice as attachment, but even if its not doing that it at leas allow non technical users (read: to busy to look for stuff every month) easy acces to billing invoices:
It should contain a link do Billing: https://cloud.digitalocean.com/settings/billing
Even better to billing for a team it belongs to.14 votes
It would be helpful if there were an iCal calendar that we could subscribe to which showed when maintenance was being done in each datacenter.4 votes

Add additional monitoring and notifications to load balancers. I would like to have the option to be notified when my load balancer passes curtain thresholds.3 votes
If I enter my root domain into the "hostname" field I'm only allowed to create entries such as A, AAAAA, MX etc. but not CNAME.
I can create a CNAME entry with my root domain and this will be flattened automatically, like Cloudflare does (https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169056-CNAME-Flattening-RFC-compliant-support-for-CNAME-at-the-root)3 votes
When using a TCP load balancer it would be still useful to know the the IP address the original address came from.
HAProxy has a PROXY protocol which is sent to the downstream server with IP information when a new client connects before sending proxying any data.0 votes
We got several requests for this feature and we are considering working on it soon. Thanks for the feedback.
It would be good that we can manage the physical machine where a NEW vm that is added to the LB starts.
If we can control that then we can make sure the LB is doing failover as well as balancing.2 votes
An API endpoint to access the collected metrics infos would be useful.
It should return everything you can see in the webinterface:
- Disk usage & activities
- (Top) Processes grouped by RAM and CPU usage8 votes
Please bring your block storage functionality to India!4 votes
Our Bangalore datacenter is high on the list of locations where block storage is headed. You can find the details to our roll out plan in this blog post:
Our current aim is to bring block storage to BLR1 by late Q2/early Q3 of 2017.
allow monitoring policies to be created for all droplets (rather than having to select droplets individually)
Currently, when you create a policy, you need to manually select the droplets it applies to.
For basic policies (disk nearly full, cpu over-used) I just want them to apply to all droplets - both current ones and future ones.
A simple checkbox 'apply to all droplets' would make it easier to create the policy, and would mean I didn't have to remember to add future droplets to my policies whenever I create them3 votes
Allow prepay with credit card, send automated verification code per transaction as security check, Paypal just do this way, no much security as one would imagine.7 votes
