A place to check my monthly bandwith usage
Currently I only have access to a graph showing me my bandwith usage between periods. But it is lack of a total usage of bandwitdh, like: 1.4GB of 1TB of monthly bandwidth usage.
To see the overall bandwidth being used. It has a great representation of a graph but seeing an overall figure of usage would be helpful
Graph is good but i need total usage. So i can decided if i must upgrade.
We need to know how many left from our bandwidth and disk size
I'm looking everywhere for this if you sale Droplets with a max transfer a month please let me have so where to check how much of I used and how much is left this month!!
I have a hard time gauging how much bandwidth my droplet has used each month. It would be nice to display the totals to the user so we can upgrade our droplet before hitting the maximum for the month and then being charged for each GB extra.
Currently there seems to be no way to display how much bandwith was used from the allocated amount. So I cannot check how much there is left.
I need to know how many (Memory, Disk, bandwidth) are balance for my account.
show bandwidth used in month,example: 26.4GB / 2TB
I understand bandwidth monitoring is in undergoing development.
Although this might take some time to implement there might be immediate gains if there is a sort of snapshot bandwidth usage notification in every say payment cycle. This can take any form from web GUI presentation to just an email notification.
This way customers can see a rough indication of where there bandwidth needs are heading i.e. if they are close to the limit they can upgrade without risking an overcharge in, say, a couple of months after a rampant bandwidth usage.

If bandwidth usage is not metered, then why does it say "1TB Transfer"?
Zachary DuBois commented
Currently usage is not metered and everyone has unlimited data [Source: IRC]. So this isn't a real major one for us as we can use as much data as we need for now.
+3, it would be great if DigitalOcean had an official response on the metering issue.

They don't charge for bandwidth at this time. When they actually start monitoring usage, that info will be available in the control panel.

What's the status now? I really need to track my monthly bandwidth usage.

Updates on this? If bandwidth isn't charged, it should be said somewhere on the site.

Is this still coming soon? As quoted you are currently not charging for bandwidth?

any updates on this - if your on a 'metered' tarrif, we need to be able to check total usage.
Ugh yeah, they definitely need to add this.

I heard there planning on adding this.. i talk to the support team and they said they wont charge for overages on bandwidth until they make an accurate system
This would be very useful!
We will be integrating some of the new items that are billable into the invoice so customers can get an idea of their usage prior to getting actually billed for them.
Coming soon, until then we aren't charging for bandwidth.
Not sure I quite understand the request here but at $0.02 cents per GB overage I dont think you have much to worry about pushing a little bit of extra bandwidth.
