I suggest you ...

Brazilian DataCenter

What is the possibility of creating data centers in Brazil or in Latin America? The latency is high here!

But would also like to congratulate you for the quality and support!

The location that we are looking into is Sao Paulo.

So far we have seen that datacenter costs are 2x - 3x higher then the US.

Bandwidth costs unfortunately currently are 10x-15x higher than the US.

The other main issue that we are looking into is to understand the infrastructure and resilience of the facilities to see if they have the appropriate measures in place for redundant power, backup power, generators, cooling, etc.

        Thanks!

Moisey Uretsky, even for double the price, $10 one 512mb droplet, i will pay for in brazil datacenter. Please use alog in sao paulo, its the best datacenter here(i'm not payed by them for this, its the experience)

This will be very nice, we are intenting to host our services on digital ocean but my company is wondering if the datacenter can be located in Brasil.

        +1

México can be a good deal too.

+3. Latency goes around 150-160ms from the NY datacenter (the one with best results for my region), but a local datacenter would probably drop that to around 20-30ms, like the local-ultra-expensive host companies from here.
