Hey Moisey,
Any updates on this? -
Hrm interesting suggestion will need to create a simple way to do that without adding more cluter, DNS is already becoming a large beast.
But agreed.

One small issue I ran into today: you should probably put that in place for adding records. I added an A record today and had to copy/paste the ip address from the previous page.

I do have a warning though. The page should still display both the dropdown list of droplets AND a simple text field.
The way your dns manager works could allow it to handle dns records for something other than a droplet, and this shouldn't be rendered impossible by a UI change. I believe supporting dns hosting for paying customers is a nice to have, and shouldn't be messed with. -

The main idea behind my suggestion is the fact that the user knows the droplets only by their names, and probably not their IP addresses. They might decide to change the IP address of a droplet (maybe when they need to move a server's location). Then, if the DNS is made to follow a droplet name, the user would not need to change DNS records (although it still takes time for the configuration to get applied).

I believe it means something like a drop down list of your droplets instead of an "ip address" field.
I agree that it would simplify things (no need to go back, copy the ip address, then paste) -
Hi,
I'm not quite sure I get your request can you clarify it please?
Thanks
